Our client, a large oil producer, requires an IT Security Analyst for a 3-month duration to assist with their SCADA systems segregation.
Responsibilities:
• Review business and technical requirements and validate proposed solutions will meet the requirements.
• Provide recommendations on industry best practices and pit falls
• Provide guidance on direction of Oil and Gas control systems industry standards
• Help identify design issues and propose alternatives
• Validate implementation against business and technical requirements and industry standards
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience in an information security
• Working knowledge of the following standards.
o NIST SP 800-82 and the US Department of Homeland Security’s Catalog of Control Systems Security
o Department of Homeland Security (DHS) CSA Z246.1-09 Security management for petroleum and natural gas industry systems standard
• Strong working knowledge of oil and gas SCADA Control systems
• Experience with IT Security in oil and gas
• Experience with Nessus/NMAP and capable of performing and analyzing scans
• Experience with network devices/security and ability to understand and interpret network captures.
• Working experience with Control System systems and SCADA network protocols (SCADAVantage and iFix)
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of regulatory and legislative influences on information security (e.g. PIPEDA (CDN), FOIA (USA), Sarbanes-Oxley, etc)
